Monday looks...

11 days left in the season, so you can pretty much eliminate a lot of trends at this point...Throw most of them right out the damn window...

This is time of year where you "Shrink the playbook" down to just a precious few plays (trends)...You stick with the tried and true trends from here on out and watch the injury reports as teams will be resting players down the stretch...

There are plenty of teams eliminated from playoff contention and the tricky part is finding out which ones are still playing hard and which ones have packed it in for the season...So this means there are a lot of games where we may only have one team in a game who is interested...

One game that does NOT fit that bill is OKC at the LAC...

The Thunder are still playing for the #1 seed in the West and may have to win out to get it as the Spurs own the tie-breaker with them...One loss may be good enough, but the Spurs (other than playing the Lakers twice) have a fairly easy schedule the rest of the way...

And the Clips are fighting for Home-court advantage in the 1st-round of the playoffs...

And I talked about "shrinking my playbook" for trends the final few weeks...Well, a near-immediate revenge game between 2 teams who have a lot on the line tonight is a trend that is in my shrunken playbook, as this is always a tried-and-true play any time of the season and Vegas is showing us that with OKC listed as a 3-point FAV in this one...

This game may be worth a play, considering the Clips upset OKC at OKC 5 days ago on a last-second floater by Chris Paul...

Vegas also has adjusted for the IMMEDIATE revenge game in this home-and-home set with ATL and TOR...The Raptors surprised Atlanta last night with a 16-point spanking at Atlanta and now the 2 teams play at Toronto...ATL listed as a 5.5 to 6-point FAV...

The Wizards are still a reversal chart-play to the Under as they play CHI, who has had 4 straight Unders in regulation time, although 2 of those Unders went Over in overtime...

GS 4 straight Overs following 4 straight Unders playing SA, who loves Overs, but I worry about a potential blowout there, although on the surface, 10.5 points to GS at Oracle looks like a gift, but David Lee being out is the reason and he has been playing great for the Warriors the past few weeks at least...
